Color and shape create emotion

Painting is like embarking on a journey for me. Instead of chasing expectations and goals, I immerse myself in the sensuality of the process. With curiosity and a fearless heart, I explore this path of discovery, observing and responding to the demands of color, brush, paper, or canvas. This interplay awakens emotions, and at best, I surprise myself with my interpretation of what emerges.

I love experimenting with colors and shape. I am constantly fascinated by the techniques of the Old Masters of the Renaissance, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Sandro Botticelli, Filippo Lippi, and Albrecht Dürer. However, I also find abstract painting, like that of Rothko, very exciting. Currently, I am exploring the English modernism from the 1950s to the 1980s, and I am particularly impressed by Euan Uglow's very refined and meticulously balanced color palette.
